The quality level for licensed and API certified engine oils is currently ILSAC GF-4. It ensures fuel efficiency, reduces piston deposits and improves oxidation protection. The ILSAC GF-4 quality standard is easily recognized by the API oil certificate, which you can find on the oil canister. Oils with this certification are backwards compatible and are also suitable for vehicles that require ILSAC GF-3, GF-2 or GF-1 oils. Mopar Max Pro 10W-30 is approved according to the Chrysler material standard MS-6395. Lubricants with this standard are engine oils with ILSAC GF-4, they are required for all Chrysler vehicles.
